Ambivalence runs through our days and obscures our natural inheritance, which is Love. From the perspective taught in A Course in Miracles, we experience spiritual ambivalence because we vacillate between listening to one of two “voices” in our minds. This post sketches the Course’s path to resolving this ambivalence through developing a relationship with our Guide.

Questions about how to behave in a given situation arise for most of us on a daily, if not hourly, basis. Historically, religion and religious leaders have provided guidance about right action. A Course in Miracles simultaneously has nothing to say about how to act in a given situation and also teaches that our inner Teacher will give us all the guidance we need to navigate our day-to-day lives.
