This post is a companion to the previous post on the belief in scarcity. A Course in Miracles teaches that abundance is not something that we have but something that we are. Our abundance is of God and therefore limitless and eternal.

The idea of two “mindsets” or “mentalities,” one of scarcity and the other of abundance, has become a popular meme in recent years. A Course in Miracles uses “scarcity” and “abundance” in different and more far-reaching ways than the popular usage. In this post, I trace the belief in scarcity back to its origin and provide some guidance from A Course in Miracles on disinvesting in this belief.
